In their Active Role, when casting a Sorcery-Type Spell, a Sorcerer may Reroll up to 1 failed roll.

Q: Does the Sorcerer/Wizard reroll let you reroll a failed damage roll?

A: No. Casting a spell means rolling for the spell to happen, so the reroll applies only to the casting roll (to hit / to perform the Assist) — Mage, Sorcerer and Wizard do not allow rerolling damage rolls. (— meksmaks)
