A Panicked model must perform a Morale roll at the beginning of its every Activation or Reaction. If it fails the roll when in its Active Role, it must perform an entire Run movement towards the nearest open edge of the field. (If the distance from the two or more edges of the field were the same, the player must decide towards which the model will run to.) If it starts its turn Engaged it will declare Idle and Dodge. If the Movement of the model in this State would end past the edge of the field, the model is removed from play and counts as a loss. I f the model fails the roll in its Reactive Role, it can only declare Dodge towards the edge of the field or Nothing as its Reaction.

Q: How do Panicked and Engaged interact for forced movement?

A: Engaged takes priority — while Engaged you may only move directly toward the engaging model. That's why a Panicked model that fails its Morale check while Engaged has to Dodge instead. (— Dockel)
