Redirect Damage
Redirect Damage is a Level III Spell of the Wizardry school (Type: Sorcery, Ranged/ Melee; Element: Elder) in Eldfall Chronicles.
Effect: On hit, the Target’s successful non-Critical Hits are negated. In addition, the Target model receives a number of non-Critical Hits equal to the number of successful Attack Rolls (apart from Critical Hits) it made during its Attack, using the same Item, Spell and Abilities it used during its Attack. This Spell is not affected by “Ranged (Friendly Fire)”.

Frequently Asked Questions
[edit | edit source]Q: How does Redirect Damage Spell work?
A: A model using Redirect Damage must target a model using an Attack Action. If that model declares an Attack targeting the caster of Redirect Damage, this results in a Confrontation. If the caster wins the Confrontation, the attacker scores no successful Hits, so nothing happens. If there is no Confrontation and Redirect Damage is cast, any non-critical Hits that would be scored by the affected model are instead scored on that model. The caster of Redirect Damage is considered the source of those Hits.
