Conjuration

Conjuration is one of the five types of Spells (magic). A Conjuration Spell lets the caster summon a creature onto the field and bind it under their command.

  • Conjuration Spells can only be cast in the caster's Active Role, by declaring a Ritual (Special Action).
  • A summoned creature may be used as one of the player's models; it immediately receives Activation Points equal to its Stamina (STA).
  • A summoned creature is simultaneously considered a model and a Conjuration-type Spell.
  • Conjuration Spells have a Mana Cost of 1 or more — the caster must spend that many Mana Counters (see Mage).

Summoning Limit

[edit | edit source]

Each summoned creature has a Summoning Limit equal to its Tier (on its profile). A caster cannot cast another Conjuration Spell once the combined Summoning Limit of its creatures on the field reaches its Stamina value. The limit may be exceeded only if it was not already full at the moment of casting. Any creature a model starts the game with via the Summoner Class also counts toward its Summoning Limit.

Loss of the caster

[edit | edit source]

When the caster of a Conjuration Spell becomes Incapacitated or Dead, the creatures it summoned are removed from the field at the end of the Activation Sequence.
